I recently brought a Speedo cap but it doesn't even come close to fitting me. I have a massive bulge at the top of the head by the scalp where air collects. Latex or silicone? Silicone always slides off my head and I look like a moron... so I stick with latex, it grabs better.

I have a silicone one and was thinking of trying the old-school latex ones again. The silicone is terrible!!!!

RE: Swimming caps?

I have found that Speedo and TYR fit differently. Those are the only 2 brands I've tried. If you can, try another brand (are there others?).
Oh, and don't bother with trying TYR--IMO they are bigger than Speedos, yet they give me a headache. Can't stand them.

RE: Swimming caps?

What kind of cap are you wearing? If it's riding up it may be too small. Maybe try a long hair cap?

RE: Swimming caps?

I love the silicone caps...

RE: Swimming caps?

Latex will not last as long, but will hold better
