I look at it this way. Michael Phelps had to win 8 gold medals and set a bunch of world records to get on the cover the month before. All I had to do be one of the slowest swimmers at the pool where I swim, finish 50th out of 59 in my age group and take 10 minutes longer than the previous year. The reason I'm standing in the back was that my "strategy" this year was to be one of the last in the water so that I didn't get run over by everyone else.
