I am asking some HS swim coaches and would like to see if the your school district requires you to have the following Red Cross certifications:

1. Lifesaving

1. CPR
2. Sports Medicine/ Pupil Supervision Certificate
3. BCI/FBI background check fingerprinting required by most school districts

This is a dept of health req because there is no other guard on duty during practice.  Some coaches even turn in swimmers&amp;#39; certs to cover the bases, but that is happening less now than it used to.
