they were measuring people's bone density ... at the ankle Imagine the score USMS people would get if they measured bone density between the ears. :frustrated: :angel:

I still haven't gotten mine. I got my issue of Splash from USA-S though, and I signed up for them just a couple weeks ago.

The article on bone density is interesting. I concurr. We had a health fair at work and they were measuring people's bone density via a Teripheral Hologic Bone Density Scan at the ankle. Low scores ~2.5 are not good (Osteoporosis) and a normal score would be greater than -1. I was at +2.3. Unfortunately, they did not hand out a prize for my most excellent score. The next best score I'd heard of was +1.7. Guess I have strong bones...:cane:

Got mine Saturday. I like the Butterfly checkup photo series. It's made me realize that I drop my elbows at the start of my pull :doh: Lots of good focus points in that article. Was also a great article on my teammate Jeff Erwin.

I registered in June this year and have yet to receive anything. Registered in May and have not received one, either. And yes, I know I should contact the magazine but I don't think about it until it is discussed here--out of sight, out of mind. In this case, never in sight, never on mind.

I have to say that since I joined a 2 years ago, I have never had any problems getting the magazine. :banana: I have not gotten the Dec issue yet, but there is still time.

Does this mean we must re-register for the following year by November 30 in order to receive the Jan-Feb issue? No. All members automatically receive the Jan/Feb issue. But if you don't renew by January 31st, you won't receive the Mar/Apr issue.
