A 5AM practice wouldn't be that bad, I could swim from 5-7 and I could take my time getting to work at 8 if my work schedule was the typical 8-5 everyday. Right now, my work schedule is pretty random.

That is no difference than the 5am workout I do with the kids twice a week now. :snore:

I can't imagine a 4:45 practice. It's one thing to haul youself out of bed at that hour, another thing to actually swim that early.

AT 7:15 am on Saturdays when we eat breakfast together after our workout all I can really think about is why in the world I get up at 4:45 am on Saturdays. Our coach recently announced we were adding four 4:45 am practices M-Th. She surveyed interest. The women were enthusiastic. The men, not realizing that these were additional practices and worried that they perhaps displaced our usual practices, all threatened to quit. I, of course, concurred.
