I am curious if anyone knows the story of Phelps' father. We see his mom Debbie every night at every meet and how she raised him. Does anyone know the story of his father, where he is, etc? Based on what Phelps says in his book and "Unfiltered" I get the impression that they don't have the best relationship...I think I might have seen an interview or read something about it too. His mom seems to be the more involved parent though no doubt his father is very proud of him also.
