Does that sponsorship imply some sort of discount when purchasing swim goodies?  I was just in the Kiefer store in Northbrook, IL Saturday to pick up some new goggles and antifog juice.  I looked briefly at the monofins but decided they were too expensive to buy on impulse.  (It was also clear why Fortress hurt herself.  They are basically guillotine blades that attach to your feet.  Yow!)  But if I&amp;#39;d have been able to whip out my USMS membership card and get a discount, that might have changed the equation enough...  :doh:
