Without that kind of information, I'm not convinced the answer is metabolic and not the fact that these 60-78 year-olds can do more reps because their pain is buffered.

Does the PED determination depend on whether it is metabolic or increased pain tolerance?

RE: Doping! Wish it were true. Unfortunately, I sit at 186lbs., the same weight as in college..... only the skin sags, and the joints pop. I would weigh as much as the "evil one" if this were true.

Your little rant reminds me of Crash Davis (Kevin Costner) in Bull Durham when he was telling Susan Sarandon off ("I believe in long, slow, deep, wet kisses that go on for three days...")when she was trying to choose between him and Tim Robbins at the beginning of the movie. His little giggle when he walked out the door was hilarious! :lmao:
I love that movie.

PS If Advil is doping, I'm an idiot! :thhbbb:

RE: Doping! John; eats motrin like a kid eats candy, drinks starbucks "girly" coffee drinks before swims, gets drunk off one margarita, races in cheesy speedo legskins and weighs as much as my left leg so he can try and wear the same size jeans he did in high school (wussy).

I; live for advil, drink red bull before swims, have my tolerance so high I don't get drunk on anything, prefer high-neck full length arena suits, prefer dim sum, great sushi, pizza of any kind, spicy indian food and anything else that can keep me in the "clydesdale" category.

RE: Doping! Paul you have answered all my questions as to why I have continually been in the clydesdale division for the past decade. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.... I'm sure they've pre-ordered their LZRs as well. In fact, I know quite a few masters swimmers who have pre-ordered their Speedo Surfboard ... Maybe we'll see masters records start falling in the dozens soon too. :bolt:
