Did anyone see that young kid from Great Britain??? He looked to be about 14 or 15.......good scores though.... He is 13 and ............. (and quoting from the Telegraph) he will reach the minimum Olympic age of 14 just three months before the start of the Games, he will be looking to capture the world’s imagination in China.

So, how old is Thomas Daley, the new 10 meter platform champion? He looks pretty young to me - 12 or 13 maybe.

Syd I have not found a time for the swimming events. They just have to wait for the diving to complete. They seem to be moving on quickly so it should not be too long. George, am watching the diving right now. How long (in hours) before the 50m free. I fear it will be too late for me to wait up. It is already 11:44pm over here. when does swimming begin? As per www.europeanchampionships.org/.../ the women's 50 free is scheduled for 18:17. It's now 18:01 (or 13:01 East Coast)

Thomas Daley's about 2 months shy of 14, born 21 May 1994 according to Wikipedia. He'll be 14 for the the Olympics. He put on an impressive show today.

What happened to Pieter Van Den Hoogenbrand? I see he swam in the 4 x 100m Freestyle relay but didn't swim in the 100m Free. Anyone know why he never entered? He did 48.81 in the final leg of the relay.
