Does anyone know of any websites and/or books that have detailed diagrams that show the primary and/or secondary muscle groups used during different types of swimming styles?

I actually knew about and use it all the time for when I weight lift though. I'm looking more in particular for a muscle diagram that for example shows a guy swimming freestyle and shaded in red are the exact muscles being used/stretched.

Try Googling "muscles used in freestyle swimming"
You'll get lots of links
www.slowtwitch.com/.../freestyle.html
swimming.about.com/.../swim_weight.htm
www.thestretchinghandbook.com/.../stretches-swimming.php

and you'll also find a lot of garbage. I'm sure you'll soon learn "triage".

RE: Muscle Group Diagrams

Thanks, yeah thats a really good site. Actually, i'd suggest you visit the whole site, not just the Exercise part (Sorry Glider, did not mean to disparage your posting).
It's full of excellent knowledge and diagrams. I often re-visit and just browse around for hours.

RE: Muscle Group Diagrams

Try here:
