OK, I had a gridge with Fortress this weekend. My 50 Fly vs her 50 Free. I knew I was in trouble but still knew I had to post a good number since 50 Fly was Sat and 50 Free was Sun. Drum-roll...... Hulk's 50 Fly - 26.48 Fortress' 50 Free - 26.58 DING DING DING, we have a WINNAH!!!!!!

Nice, now that's a gridge!!! I also know "Who Can It Be Now," and "Down Under." Yes, I was a Men at Work fan! Still not so challenging as "Love Shack" though. Are we really karaoke-ing on Sat? If so, I'm sure all the women will be singing "You're so Vain." Julie, you're in charge this year!! But I need food after my Sprinticus events. We don't have to karaoke. I just heard you mention it somewhere else and thought I'd egg people on. I would probably flake out anyway and choose instead to laugh at the other participants...Oops, I meant laugh WITH the participants! I would settle for some good food and camaraderie. My wife and I might join for apres-meet BBQ. We have about a 2 1/2 hour drive home afterward. The meet ends pretty early, so plenty of time to imbibe and drive. Spouses and children welcome, but no dogs!! lol I sent out an invite on FB as well, but all forumites are welcome! (Oh, the unheated pool will not be open, so you can all resist the urge to skinny dip.) I think we should put SwimStud or Hulk in charge of the Sat. gala. I need to concentrate on my 50 free gridge on Sunday.

Me Julie? I probably won't be back from PA until late Saturday night after a nice afternoon of kicking the college kids butts in the pool...hopefully! So I won't be able to coordinate the Saturday afternoon/evening event. I will definitely be swimming on Sunday...50 free baby! Should be interesting! And will absolutely attend the post-meet barbecue/beer/trash talk event!

Since Stud won't acknowledge my 200br gridge, I'll have to throw out a new one. A karaoke gridge! The only song I can sing is 'Ball and Chain' by Social Distortion. Do they have that song at karaoke bars? No this is the "psyching you out" stage...you think I'm running scared then I'll remind you 2 minutes before your heat that you're in a gridge! Now pretend I didn't tell you that...
