360+ mens relay

At our local SCM meet today, a group of men from Maine Masters swam a 200 free-relay in the 360+ age group. Wow! I think this is the first time this has ever been done. It was truly inspirational. :bow: It's not the first 360+ relay, but it may be the first men's 360+ relay to compete in short course meters (25m pool). That is what I love about masters swimming!!! Swimmers like that are my motivation to just keep swimming! I hope to swim until I'm their age. Attaboy!:cheerleader:

Woody Bowersock was just or is about to be inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. He is amazing. Several years ago I was at a local Senior Games meet (50+) and happened to be standing next to the block that Woody was about to climb on to start his race. His being 91 at the time I thought he might want some help getting up on the blocks................silly me, he didn't need any help at all. He stepped up just as you and I would and was steady as a rock.
