That is often not the case.  For a lot of meets, in the interest of saving time, men and women are seeded together.  It provides for some interesting matchups, as the gals all want to prove they can keep up with the guys, and the guys don&amp;#39;t want to get beat by girls.
If it weren&amp;#39;t for men and women seeded together, I might not have ever met my current flame.  She can tell you the story at lunch.
But yes, for this meet, the genders are separate.
