My husband has taken out extra insurance for it. He's doing this:cheerleader: in preparation for August of 2008 (LOL). Before you accept his help in daubing your body with an anti-freeze coating (Channel swimmers used to use fat and heavy oil in the old days), just make sure he is NOT using chum.................:fish2:

Scorpions, tarantulas...all you need are some venomous snakes and a breaststroker and you've got all the makings of a blockbuster horror flick: "Creatures in the Center Lane" :rofl::rofl:And we have water moccasins in Joe Pool Lake where I swim 3 x week. I haven't had an encounter yet, I think Lady Luck is waiting for my LONG swim in the ocean and will present me with an Extreme Marine Life Encounter of which I may not survive. Yuck, are those in north texas too??? That would be enough for me to change swimming pools. We're a pretty tolerant bunch. We even allow tri's.

...you're sharing the pool with a tarantula during morning practice (I didn't know they could swim). He/she was escorted out of the building. He wasn't doing the workout anyway. Not fair on the rest of you guys...it has double the number of limbs...:rofl:
