He swam on the national team in the USSR in the late 80's and early 90's. Unfortunately, he has not been able to find himself in any results online. I believe he said he finished 3rd in 91/92 world cup (not championship) for 50 or 100 free. That same race Popov was first.
Anyhow, I can not find any info about the world cup anywhere. Did I misunderstand him, or is this event not very popular.

He also finished 13th or 14th at one of the early 90's LEN European championships.

Thanks for any help.

FINA keeps a record of all world cup results.

It's very likely in their archives. Good luck.

I still had it saved in my search history. All I could find is that he currently coaches in Canada.

RE: world cup results

Do you have a name for him?

RE: world cup results

thanks

RE: world cup results

We probably have the results from that meet in our back issues, which are available to premium subscribers.
