A lot of teams offer them at a very low cost, or free to members.  Stroke clinics are good for new swimmers or experienced swimmers who just need a little refresher (which is pretty much everyone from time to time). The best way to hone your skills is to be on a Masters team that has a regular coach that attends practices.
