Y-Nationals

i hate sounding dumb... but.... what are "Y-Nationals?" YMCA Masters Nationals Other organizations in addition to United States Masters Swimming conduct national championships for adult swimmers, YMCA and Senior Games are a couple of these. These events are not sanctioned by USMS, however times achieved by USMS members at these events MAY be considered for USMS records, top 10, etc.

Yes, I am going to Y- Nats. They had blocks of rooms available until Feb. 1 but have since dropped the holds. There are several nice hotels in the area but only a couple you could walk to the facility from. University Place is one of them but is a bit pricey (approx $170/night) and, I believe, one of the Marriott's is another. Hope to see you there.

I'm so glad you are willing to ask questions that may sound dumb to those in the know. You are braver than I. If you haven't discovered it yet, the info you're looking for is posted in the "Events/Announcements" discussion board. Have fun in Indy, my hometown. BTW Jim, "Y" refers to the YMCA Nationals.

You have to be a Y member. The deadline for the meet was today. The meet will be held the weekend before the ILMSA Championship in Chicago.
