Dont know the exact term you use. the good on it is that if you dont push your armstrocke to the end they fill with watter. So it helps to control your technic.

you can buy antipaddles (diferent from paddles) or just use you fist. Using fist is the best solution, you can combine it for example;right armhand fist, left arm normal, etc.

I think it is a good solution to improve your technic, to prevent shoulder injuries, sensibility, etc.

RE: fistgloves

I use fist gloves on and off. What I find is that as you are swimming and the gloves get soaked, they get like anchors. When in the free style , it will put your stroke where ever you aim your arm, and your arm will land that way. I like to use them in pratice for mile races. But I do like them. They were a great help to teach me to be aware of my forearms and to use them to catch and hold onto the water during the stroke. I also do a lot of fist drills without the gloves.

RE: fistgloves

I, personally, am not a big fan of the fist drill....the fist gloves are at the opposite end of the spectrum from paddles (which I do love)....BUT i do understand that there are benefits to using these things...don't get me wrong.
