GO FAF sisters!

This is great news! I&#39;m glad my sister&#39;s daughter is doing well. She has two more years to swim at state, right? I hope she is able to recover quickly and that both the mental and physical pain subside quickly. She sounds like a fighter, so I&#39;m sure she&#39;ll make it through just fine.

On the bright side you get to spend more time with her, which I&#39;m sure you both love.

Happy Birthday, too!

I&#39;ve been thinking about both of you and sending good vibes your way. Hopefully you will both be back in the pool quickly!

Love,
Baby Sis!<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: Thank-you for prayers

I feel so blessed to have such good cyber buddies! I had to add that I&#39;m so happy for your daughter. I hope she recovers quickly and is back in the pool soon.

Where did she have the surgery? I had a possible tumor removed at Northside (Atl.) abotu 6 years ago. They found it through ultra sound but couldn&#39;t rule out cancer with all the additional testing. I&#39;m happy to say I had a benign fibroid the size of a tennis ball removed 3 weeks later. Recovery was about 2 weeks and now I&#39;m fine. My doctor, Dr. Peacock, was awesome!

She came home Sunday...my best birthday present EVER! Her nickname is Spunky and I think her personality and her strong will that inspired her nickname will help her bounce back ASAP!

Thank-you for all your love and support! Y&#39;all are the best group of people in the world and I can&#39;t wait to meet some of you in person one day soon!

Love,

I&#39;m so glad. I&#39;m not surprised her nickname is Spunky. She sounds like a fighter! Maybe she&#39;s an FAF Sista like her mommy, Miss Scaaaaalet.

And did I see a birthday mention? HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Having her home safe is the best present ever. Also, I think that means you will be entering my age group, twin, and leaving behind that oh so competitive 40-44 bunch. (Of course the 45-49 group are no slouches either.) Welcome! Now, we can do that 50 fly holding hands for sure!!!

What a relief. I hope Kristy has the speediest recovery possible!

I am so happy that the surgery came out for the best. I have been thinking and praying for you and your daughter. I hope to visit sometime this spring or summer. Perhaps I will visit my son the weekend of the UGA meet. I would love to meet your daughter...I will come practice at Swim Atlanta and Dynamo when in town.
Keep swimming hard and best of luck.
