Since you are my big sister's twin, you must be must sister. GO FAF sisters! This is great news! I'm glad my sister's daughter is doing well. She has two more years to swim at state, right? I hope she is able to recover quickly and that both the mental and physical pain subside quickly. She sounds like a fighter, so I'm sure she'll make it through just fine. On the bright side you get to spend more time with her, which I'm sure you both love. Happy Birthday, too! I've been thinking about both of you and sending good vibes your way. Hopefully you will both be back in the pool quickly! Love, Baby Sis!

Thanks for keeping us updated Beth!! (AKA as Miss Scaaaalet) I am soooo glad to hear she is doing o.k. and that the cyst was benign! Sorry she missed her State Championships though.....but I'm sure that there will be plenty more big swimming championships in her future. Newmastersswimmer

Beth, I missed the original post about this. I had to add that I'm so happy for your daughter. I hope she recovers quickly and is back in the pool soon. Where did she have the surgery? I had a possible tumor removed at Northside (Atl.) abotu 6 years ago. They found it through ultra sound but couldn't rule out cancer with all the additional testing. I'm happy to say I had a benign fibroid the size of a tennis ball removed 3 weeks later. Recovery was about 2 weeks and now I'm fine. My doctor, Dr. Peacock, was awesome! Alison

I just wanted to let my Masters cyber buddies know how my daughter is doing and thank-you for all your prayers and well wishes. She came home Sunday...my best birthday present EVER! Her nickname is Spunky and I think her personality and her strong will that inspired her nickname will help her bounce back ASAP! Thank-you for all your love and support!
