Ok, I'll give you "inspirational" too, Dorianblade. I love that you are so into swimming. I'm sure anyone you're dating would think so too -- unless she's unworthy. I'm off to nominate again. I like to nominate. I like to post too, even though it seems that Frank doesn't (except for long ones --they should count double or triple. I think I have to fess up to one one long recent one in quite controversial thread.) I still think this thread should be renamed. Can Beth do that? I can't even get my name changed under "user titles." I guess I'll have to resort to PM. Hate that PM. I'm going to hit ignore. I have to work, you know. I guess I'm like Geochuck. (Where is that guy?! I'd like to converse with him. He is one cool dude for a 70+ guy. It's probably that tequila. I hope it's not sunstroke.) Say what you think and take your licks is a good motto. Cool dude.

I am simply being patriotic... :laugh2: I dunno, It must be an American thing...you call us Brits stuck up prissy types...but you're getting freaked out by the sight of a man's bum in speedos..and on a swim site no less! ;) My gawd...you're lucky you 've never had to vacation with Europeans, like I did in my teens... :laugh2: :laugh2: Anyhow Rat's new Avatar is great. My brother got the crazy genes and did the jumping out of planes thing. Me, I'll take my chances with the waves and the sharks :joker: PS...if you'd find it less intimidating. Thanks for the advice and :2cents: guys. so after much deliberation regarding when exactly she wants me to call, and after my friend almost beat me up to call her RIGHT NOW. i text her if she can talk, she said its loud where she's at, i told her to give me a call tomorrow if she wants to get together this weekend. Now we wait...:o haha BTW some guy, i think this thread is VERY Inspirational haha.

Beth: Can we officially re-title this the "Swimmer Dating Thread" so that everyone can live vicariously? "Iinspiratonal" does not seem to describe this thread any longer. Not complaining, mind you.

aint that the truth.. i was doing laps and couldn't stop thinking about manning up and asking her out. so i get out of the gym to the freezing cold, get in my car, put music on and txt msg her: me: hey girl, doing anything sat? her: not as of yet, whats up? me: lets get together her: possibly. give me a call ok.... now what the hell does that mean?! :shakeshead: Yeah what Beth says. She is obviously in favour of the idea of "going out" but perhaps would like to "talk" with you so you can sort it out. So give her a call tomorrow evening...no text. PS don't forget to tell her she looks nice...say something: nice dress, nice shirt..like your hair like that etc...just don't say all of them or go over the top if she's in jeans and a t-shirt...
