This looks interesting... here I go...

1. ~2
2. 54
3. No age group swimming at all
4. See no. 3
5. Best masters event... my first 50 free which remains my PR, tho still pretty slow, 51
6. Favorite masters event is a tough one: The 50 free b/c I don&#39;t get lapped too much or at all (if LC) ;) and it gives me a chance to see how fast I can make my slow body go... but also like open water swims b/c I enjoy being outdoors and in natural bodies of water--learned to swim mostly in a bay, so it&#39;s like a homecoming.
7. Most hated masters event: Quick note: I&#39;d rather not use the word &quot;hated&quot; but I took a stab at the 100 IM (hey it was the senior games and I was feeling reckless!) and t&#39;weren&#39;t purty. But it was kind of fun in a weird way to try an event where I don&#39;t feel confident about meeting any goals except to manage to sustain the butterfly for the whole 25 yards and actually finish. But when IM sets come up in practices.... :help:<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: Masters Swimming Survey

If anyone really cares:

You sound like a mean backstroker Alex! Congrats on your high placing in that very tough and widespread competition!

And Heather.....You will break the 1:00 barrier in the 100 fly someday....Did you happen to read my prior posting about that? Just keep moving forward the way you are and you will get there sooner than you think....Remember that you are a flyer now (self declared) even if its not quite your best event at the moment.
