&lt;p&gt;A friend of mine, very good distance and open water swimmer, had a reverse shoulder replacement in Jan 2021.&amp;nbsp; He was back swimming after about 6 months although he has some weight lifting restrictions. His was done at a Mayo clinic in Jacksonville (FL).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As you probably know by now, these are trickier than regular shoulder replacements.&amp;nbsp; So, makes sense to work with a surgeon who does alot of them for best possible results.&lt;/p&gt;
