I will be too occupied in Hades (doing the eternal 200m fly taken out w-a-a-y too fast) to care. And as usual, my lanemates insist I lead the way.

This leads to a strange point - if you do what you like in heaven, and what you hate in hell - is it possible that a swimmer could be swimming either way. Maybe 100 free repeats for eternity, maintaining 1:00 leaving time in heaven. Same distance/time in hell - but with fly!

RE: last will and test. of a swimmer

Somehow Wayne, I think he'd still beat me, that ol' debbil alway's finds a way to cheat ya' when you take his deals...

RE: last will and test. of a swimmer

Eternal damnation would definitely be a new competition suit with no Vaseline :( major ouch!

But since we're talking about soul selling, I'd be all for Peter beating Michael, even if it means eternal fly in Hades.....something about "having your cake and eating it too." lol.

Oh, and I also decided I would leave my chamois to my little sister (no idea where that came from!)

RE: last will and test. of a swimmer

So Peter, would you sell your soul to beat Phelphs in the 200 fly and set a new world record? My mom will never miss the smell of chlorine in our washer, or my swim bag, or the 5am practices. She would miss me though. : )

One thing my grandfather told me once, about Heaven, is that it existed because the things we loved to do in life followed us, and we did them for eternity.

So I think I'll take my goggles with me, cuz I might need them.

I swim now, and I swim forever. Everyone else can fight over my stuff. I'm too busy enjoying the pool.

RE: last will and test. of a swimmer

all of my other possessions will be fought over by friends and family who would probably post it on ebay. lol

RE: last will and test. of a swimmer

ooo, interesting...
I will leave my bag and all of my suits and towels to my mum cause one day she'll miss tripping over that pile in the laundry room.
I will also leave my goggles and caps to either my dog, who loves to grab them at the most inoppertune moments and not let go, or to the NYC MTA where many goggles and umbrellas of mine have been found by subway riders. lol :)
