Now if there was just some live feed over the net that would be even better. Anyone know of such a link?

They are from regional qualifier meets that are all SCY meets.

For the masters (19+) entries, we requested LCM seed times... but we fully expect that we've got bunches of SCY seed times in there because people didn't know any better.

Out of curiosity I took a look at some of the seed times for your meet. The next generation of superstars is definitely alive and well in New England.

RE: Olympic Trials Scoreboard

WOW, DID Y'ALL 'SEE' PHELPS IN THE 400 IM?

Pretty impressive. This says something about Phelps. He won the race by nearly 6 seconds, but did he let up? Heck no! He goes for the record. That's the kind of swimmer he is.

The men's 400 free was also very impressive! Keller's definitely in the medal hunt in Athens.

I'd say tonight's events put to rest the notion that this may not be a fast pool.

RE: Olympic Trials Scoreboard

I am getting the impression this is the first time a lot of you U.S. Masters have seen/used http://www.omegatiming.com/ . What sites do the U.S. meets usually use for up to the moment results?

We've been doing that for years up here in Boston. We started doing live online scoreboard and instant results for championship meets at Harvard starting about 6 years ago, and we do it better than Omega, IMHO. The Omega system is nice, but you only get updates about every 15 seconds. So you end up with a bit of a non-continuous experience.

The system I designed up here has actual real-time data, updated once per second. We've been using it for the New England Masters SCY Champs (which are in March or April each year) for several years.

We'll be doing the live webcast this week-end of the Bay State Games swimming events. (Friday-Sat-Sun, prelims 8:45am-noonish, finals 4:45pm-8ish, eastern time). Go to:

It looks like the women's 100 fly will be a tight race. In prelims top eight were between 59.77 and 1:00.29, one second slower to make top sixteen.
