Note that for all of the 18-under age groups, the seed times are all SCY times. They are from regional qualifier meets that are all SCY meets. For the masters (19+) entries, we requested LCM seed times... but we fully expect that we've got bunches of SCY seed times in there because people didn't know any better. -Rick

Rick, Out of curiosity I took a look at some of the seed times for your meet. The next generation of superstars is definitely alive and well in New England.

He won the race by nearly 6 seconds, but did he let up? Heck no! He goes for the record. That's the kind of swimmer he is. The men's 400 free was also very impressive! We started doing live online scoreboard and instant results for championship meets at Harvard starting about 6 years ago, and we do it better than Omega, IMHO. The Omega system is nice, but you only get updates about every 15 seconds. So you end up with a bit of a non-continuous experience. The system I designed up here has actual real-time data, updated once per second. We've been using it for the New England Masters SCY Champs (which are in March or April each year) for several years. The live timing is great. It looks like the women's 100 fly will be a tight race. In prelims top eight were between 59.77 and 1:00.29, one second slower to make top sixteen. I didn't see any major surprises in the men's 400 IM.

Go Dana Vollmer in the W 100 Fly..... My son Matt swam with Dana in Fort Worth for years....Her parents are great friends and Dana comes from a FINE FAMILY... Dana is a great kid and a very fast swimmer....I was happy to see her swim in the top eight this morning in the W 100 Fly. ... This is her 2nd US Trials.....last time she swam in Indy at age 12!

I like that little ranking window on the right side of the scoreboard... its like looking down on the pool and seeing the swimmers in the water in that order.

Go to the results tab and click on Total Rankings for the event - you'll get results including splits. I have two windows open - one to the scoreboard and one to the results page.

Is there a way to keep the times up longer? I keep missing them as they end and then go on to the next race. I'd like to see the times and such for the men's 400 im as well.

While this belongs on another thread, You know you’re a swimmer when… You sit in your office, toggling between the real-time results and posted results, for the duration of the US Olympic Trials.

You can toggle between heat mode and overall, but that still only gives you the current event. I believe the Omega site will also post the results as a pdf sometime after the event is finished. Not sure how long the delay is.
