I live about 15 minutes from Duluth!

Almost neighbors!! I graduated from Norcross (the old school). My parents live right near Berkley Lake.

I think a get together would be great!! We should start a thread when LC Nats are closer to all meet somewhere at a certain time. I know I will be one of a small group from Oregon so meeting GA swimmers would be neat.<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: Who's going to nationals?

I am sorry I did not meet you at Dynamo. Hope to meet you in Savannah. Sandy . from Perry will also be at Nationals! We hope to be on the +200 or even +240 relays! Great when you can add ages! I rode my bike on SAt. so I was in no shape to race on Sunday. Sandy and I are going to Dixie Zones in Nashville these weekend...hope they have a fast pool...I need all the help I can get!:)

Winnie, do you swim with Dynamo? I think I have met you.<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: Who's going to nationals?

I&#39;ll be headed to Nats and am ready to swim fast and see fast swims. Swmr4life, I lived in Duluth for about 13 years before moving to Warner Robins (near Terry on this thread) after college and then to Oregon in 2001. My parents and sister still live in Atlanta. When I started USMS swimming, I lived 2 hours from Dynamo but joined that team to be part of my Dad and sister. Both Dad and Jenn swim with Dynamo. My Dad is taking a year or 2 off from competition for shoulder surgery but still swims at the pool there. I was lucky to swim St. Patty&#39;s Day in Atlanta and LC Nationals in Federal Way in 2001.

Who do you swim for?

I hope I can make it to Savannah and not only swim but see some old team mates and my family. I think we should all have name tags with our screen names on them. Wouldn&#39;t that be a trip?!

Hi Swimshark! Its really a small world! I live about 15 minutes from Duluth! I swam for Dynamo some when I was a child until Swimatlanta started. I&#39;m one of the &quot;charter members&quot; of that team! The first meet we went to we didn&#39;t have enough swimmers for a relay in my age group! Now they have about 1000 swimmers! I still swim for Swimatlanta... but with the masters team. I coach a few of the teams too. Definitely try to come to Savannah. It should be a lot of fun! We should have a &quot;discussion forum get-together&quot;:)<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: Who's going to nationals?

Yep, I was there! I wish I could have met you. I had a great meet!. I was very nervous the first day because I had not swam a short course meet since Phoenix! I also had to be out of the water for almost 2 weeks a month before St. Pat&#39;s. I did 2 Masters PRs and was right on my best in my other events! I was pleasantly surprised! I was plagued with shoulder problems last year. I&#39;ve been relatively healthy this year...knock on wood!...so I hope I can improve more at Indianapolis! Hey, maybe we&#39;ll need name tags with out screen names sowe can recognize each other at first?

Maybe an informal &#39;forum regulars&#39; social is in order???
Or better yet, maybe we can all make sure we go to the official social event?

Ya know... do the right thing and support the organization that made this forum and getting to know each other possible...

Hi Swimshark! Yes, the St. Paty&#39;s Day meet is GREAT! It used to be the only Masters meet I swam in when my children were young. It was my first Master&#39;s meet also!:D I didn&#39;t swim in it in 2001 because I was recovering from shoulder surgery. Hey Tracy! &quot;Liquid courage&quot; can definitely hinder your ability to race the next day! I&#39;m proud of you for coming and having fun anyway! Thats what it&#39;s really all about anyway...right! :D I hope you can go to Savannah. It will be great! Yes, I know Anna Delozier. She is a great swimmer and is in my age group now! We tied to the hundreth of a second in a race at the St. Nick&#39;s Meet! She is very nice. I bet she is great to workout with.
