I'll be headed to Nats and am ready to swim fast and see fast swims. Looks like it may be the fastest ever. Anxiously awaiting the pysch sheets to see just how fast. Going to state meet this weekend so hopefully it'll be a good warmup for Nats. Good luck to all.

Wouldn't that be a trip?! Hi Swimshark! Its really a small world! I live about 15 minutes from Duluth! I swam for Dynamo some when I was a child until Swimatlanta started. I'm one of the "charter members" of that team! The first meet we went to we didn't have enough swimmers for a relay in my age group! Now they have about 1000 swimmers! I still swim for Swimatlanta... but with the masters team. I coach a few of the teams too. Definitely try to come to Savannah. It should be a lot of fun! We should have a "discussion forum get-together":)

Yep, I was there! Sat I was off a little bit:( But, Sunday was worse. Staying with friends up in Blue Ridge Sat night was not a good idea, too much liquid courage the night before a swim meet is not a good idea anymore! Can't recuperate as fast as I used to!:D Hopefully I will be at Savannah!!!! Went to Rutgers last year, that was fun! Do you know Anna Delozier? I swim on the same team as her.

Beth, you talking about Short Course, if so, don't know if I'll make those. Long Course in Augusta I am going to try and be there. Had fun at the St Patty's Day Meet. Times were off a little, been adding more to my workouts to get in shape! I know....excuses excuses!!!

And I hope to be in Savannah for Nationals, too. Trying to find flights from Portland that are around $300. Oh, and my sister, Jennifer (Dynamo) was at the St. Patty's Day meet as well. in 2001, that was my first masters meet ever. Great meet, too.

You were at St. Pat's??!!! I wish I could have met you. I had a great meet!. I was very nervous the first day because I had not swam a short course meet since Phoenix! I also had to be out of the water for almost 2 weeks a month before St. Pat's. I did 2 Masters PRs and was right on my best in my other events! I was pleasantly surprised! I was plagued with shoulder problems last year. I've been relatively healthy this year...knock on wood!...so I hope I can improve more at Indianapolis! I'll definitely see you in Savannah!!!:D

I'll be there, in Indy, and in Savannah! See you all there Hey, maybe we'll need name tags with out screen names sowe can recognize each other at first? Maybe an informal 'forum regulars' social is in order??? Or better yet, maybe we can all make sure we go to the official social event? Ya know... do the right thing and support the organization that made this forum and getting to know each other possible... (I already have my tix for the indy social)

It used to be the only Masters meet I swam in when my children were young. It was my first Master's meet also!:D I didn't swim in it in 2001 because I was recovering from shoulder surgery. Are you from the Atlanta area?

"Liquid courage" can definitely hinder your ability to race the next day! I'm proud of you for coming and having fun anyway! Thats what it's really all about anyway...right! :D I hope you can go to Savannah. It will be great! Yes, I know Anna Delozier. She is a great swimmer and is in my age group now! We tied to the hundreth of a second in a race at the St. Nick's Meet! She is very nice. I bet she is great to workout with. Tell her I said "hello!" :D
