WoW!!! i didn't realize you were in mtown when i posted, that's great! don't think we know each other, but it would be great to talk sometime. i haven't been swimming as often as i want (i've been letting the cold weather keep me in bed) but i'm starting back to getting into it more regularly.

Hi scolopax I'm an Auburn grad too..... War Eagle. I didn't swim while i was there but have been excited to see how well the team has been doing.

I am happy for them and for Coach Marsh, he was just an assistant when I swam there.... I think he's done so much for the program.

WOW. Auburn won both the men's and women's SEC Championships. UGA's women were second. There were some great swims by both teams. The results at the NCAA's will probably be the same..... Auburn first and Georgia second. Scolopax, you should be very proud!

Scolopax, I agree with you. Auburn will definitely win the Men's SEC title. The Women's title is going to be close between Auburn and Georgia. UGA really gained on Auburn last night . They are only 43 points behind Auburn. Check out the results @ georgiadogs.com. Auburn and Georgia both have awesome swimming programs. It is going to be exciting watching the Women's teams battle it out for the SEC title and at the NCAA's.

I'm so proud of my alma mater and my old coach. Jack Baurle has built an awesome program at UGA and was instrumental in getting the world class pool built. GOOOOOOOOOO DAWGS! Sic 'em woof woof!

UGA has had a nationally ranked swim program for a number of years now. In addition, their pool is world class and hosts one of the nicest USMS meets every June. If you live anywhere near Athens, or far away for that matter, this is a meet well worth attending.
