You are a Machine! I like what you have here, but I am not quite up to it yet, though I hope to be. This was only my third workout and before that I haven't done much swimming over the years.

Fayetteville is not far away... Do you do triathlons? That is actually what I am training for - the Tri the parks sprint triathlon series.

RE: Swimmicus Interruptus

How about
5 X 100 on 1:30 Warm-up
5 X 100 on 1:25
5 X 100 on 1:20
5 X 100 ascending rest interval 1:15, 1:20, 1:25, 1:30, 1:35 (last 2 warm down)

Start each set “on the top” and it is a 2000 yard work-out in 29:55.
For Fritz, cut the intervals by 10 seconds (1:20, 1:15, and 1:10), with the 1:15’s fly and the1:10’s back:)

RE: Swimmicus Interruptus

I haven’t done tri’s in a few years. I do however try to get in a few open water races each year and train in open water whenever I can.

If you ever get up our way feel free to come swim with our masters team in Peachtree City.
