I am age group D and have been swimming for the last 9 months after 20 odd years away from the blocks.

My question is do you have a 1/2 hour postal

RE: 1/2 Hour Postal Swim

thats pretty good going,i only manage 1500m in half hour, but hope to improve this

RE: 1/2 Hour Postal Swim

Well I swam my 1/2 hour postal today.

I managed 1725 SCM(which I think is about 1900SCY)with goggle problems. I stopped briefly, twice, to adjust them to no avail and finally ripped them off in disgust after about 600 meters.

I went through 800 @ 13.26 and through 1500 @ 25.45 I will not be doing that again this year!

Results from last year can be found on the USMS web site at www.usms.org/longdist

You can multiply the USMS distances by 0.46 to get an approximate comparable distance for 1/2 hours metric swimming.
