A lot of them that are that fast are very big for their age, but others are just pure talent in the water and very fun to watch.

When my son was 10, I timed at the YMCA state meet during finals, and only the 8 year old kids were not taller than me. With the exception of my son who was a little squirt, the 10 year olds and up were taller than me at 5-4. My son finally passed me last year!

RE: top 100

Oldest top 100 time,Brain Goodell, 85th place in the 13-14 boys 1650- 30 years ago in 1974! 38th place in 200 yard butterfly for 13 to 14 year old boyds, Dennis Baker in 1976- a master's top swimmer in the 40 to 44 year old age group.

RE: top 100

I don't know, but I desperatly want whatever they're eating!

RE: top 100

WOW!
