Yeah. I'm starting to miss Ion now...

Too bad for you that the moderators doused him with sylicyclic acid.

how do you avoid getting plantar warts? well think about where they occur - on your feet. a protective measure that i try to do all the time is to wear sandals at all times except when swimming! never walk around barefoot in the locker room or pool deck if you can avoid it.

i have one right now :( the best thing is to use the sylicyclic acid, at least 40%. it takes a while to get rid of them that way, but it is less painful and less expensive than going to the doctor to get them frozen off. (i have yet to find a doctor where i live as well. besides i'll be a nurse soon, what do i need a doctor for:))

i'm not sure what they have in the uk, but i know in the us they just started carrying an otc kit so you can freeze then off yourself. it costs about 14 dollars.

i heard duct tape works really well too, not sure why, but i know some people who have had success with it.

btw.. how long has it been there for? how big is it?

RE: Veruka

plantar warts. Plantar is the sole of your foot. They can be frozen off, cut off or they sell a heavy salicylic (sp) acid on a band-aid that you can wear.

By the way-- I believe that they are contagious?

RE: Veruka

warts...
