I was responsible for an incident of " indecent exposure " 3 years ago. I was swimming in my local 50m pool in Canada. I was in the middle of an extended fly set. 1000m of fly swimming mixed with drills. The drills were 'body pulse' and 1 arm fly etc. These drills do involve having your posterier clear the water regularly. When I was about 2/3 of the way through this set the lifeguard came over to speak to me. I thought that she was going to compliment me on my great fly technique. However she asked me if i knew that my trunks had split at the back and that the whole of my naked rear was showing, especially when it crested over the water during the pulses. I left the water immediately, holding the back of my trunks together with my one hand. I did not return to that pool for 3 mths ! I now throw out my trunks whenever they start to look thin at the back !

so, if the man got arrested for wearing a speedo, would a woman get arrested for wearing a bikini top and cut off shorts? (out of all the problems in society--this one is probably not the most important ones...unless of course he was intentionally being a pervert or something)

I wonder if they had one of those, "NO SHIRT, NO SHOES, NO SERVICE." signs? Maybe they should add, "NO PANTS" to the warning. Seriously, couldn't this situation have been handled with humor and common sense? Do we really want to arrest, fine and jail people for being 'inappropriately dressed for a restaurant', or causing 'affront or alarm' to some prude?

There are some things that there ought to be a law against, and this was most certainly one of them. At least the good people of Caddo Valley, Arkansas are safe and sound.

That is funny! There must be more to the story to justify a ticket. Otherwise, it was a very slow day in Caddo Valley or perhaps they are using ticket money to fund a new 50 meter pool in the city.
