I know that some of the meets in AZ had, "anything goes," fun events. They had some kick with fins--and they even had some monofins if people want to try them. There was a swim with paddles and fins too. Of course they were just for fun and weren't submitted as part of the official meet results. They also had some races of 25s!

Flippers should be allowed in all competitive swimming, or else shoes should not be allowed in all other sports. Anyone who says otherwise is smartly afraid of ̶l̶o̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶e̶r̶i̶o̶r̶ ̶l̶e̶g̶ ̶s̶t̶r̶e̶n̶g̶t̶h̶ getting horrendous foot and calf cramps. Fixed that for you.
