Does anyone know anything about the Italian Carlo Travaini, who won all 3 breaststroke events in Nationals last week? Very accomplished swimmer. These are some pretty impressive splits for 55-59 year old. 50y – 29.28 100y – 32.99 150y – 32.84 200y 32.69 total 2:07.80

I don't know anything about him but googling it looks like he was silver/silver/gold at 2017 masters worlds in the 3 *** events and he metaled in 200 *** in 1978 at the European JR/Youth Championships.

Does anyone know anything about the Italian Carlo Travaini, who won all 3 breaststroke events in Nationals last week? He also pulled an upset over 3 current USMS record holders from that same age group in the 100 IM.

I don't know but he was really moving in those events... I'm just glad my time beat his in the 100 *** :P
