I am swimming the last event on Sunday and was hoping to know if I need to book an extra night (I am having difficulty navigating this cryptic new website).

Here is a sneak peak of the timeline. Looks like your 200 back will be ~4:30pm ish.

Yeah, I'm in 200 back last day too. I was hoping I wouldn't have to take an extra vacation day and it looks like I will be OK - I get an hour back driving back to St. Louis.

RE: Nationals!

Anybody know the timeline to this behemoth called Spring Nationals? On the one hand, darn, I'm just absolutely heartbroken that I don't get to swim the 400 IM...
On the other hand, I was looking forward to finally seeing what I could do in my first shaved and tapered 400 IM since I was a teenager.

Oh well, next year!

Side note--at 2015 Nats, I got a shirt that said nationals finalist in fly, back, ***, and IM. Timed finals for the meet means it's true!

RE: Nationals!

This year isn't easy for me. I don't mind losing my sixth event (50 back) because 1) there's a ton of good sprinters in the 25-29 age group, 2) I might still get to do a time in a relay or two and 3) that means I get to do the 100 IM by itself that day!

RE: Nationals!

You coming to Canadian Nationals afterwards May 19-21 Calgary? Turnout is incredible, but the Indy facility has plenty of space. I am so stoked to be there. I'm not sure my times will be anything to write home about (or, blog about), but it's always fun.

Yes, the warmup pools will be crowded, but we had about 2000 people in Santa Clara in 2014 with far less warmup space and it was fine. Besides, when you're all rested and ready to go, you don't want to waste too much precious energy in warmups anyways!
