I think that I will stay with the "old" 2.0 version for the indoor season.

Good video with honest reporting. Thanx Yes, I enjoy all of her reviews a lot. Apparently she and her Dad are competitive swimmers. BTW I think Speedo themselves have a video up promoting the EVs, also. Sorry, I didn't note the link but, it was over on the right when I went to view SwimGuru's one.

Not the EV - I don't know if that's a new style - but I was using the women's mirrored Vanquisher 2.0 and switched to Swedish goggles just recently and prefer the swedes for several reasons. The light mirrored lenses on the Vanquishers are fine for indoor pool use (the dark mirrored lens is ok if the pool is well lit), but I guess they're designed for minimal peripheral visibility? The edges of the lens weren't clear, blurry in fact. Not good for backstroke. Also the antifog coating was bubbling up and making it hard to see. And, I discovered the reason for the rash I got around my eyes every time I swam... Mold under the gasket even though I took them out of the case to dry after every swim. Other than that they're a comfortable goggle. Edit: I just looked up the new EV and it looks like it has better visibility than the regular Vanquisher.

I haven't, however, in a recent YouTube video review of a backpack for swimmers, SwimLifeGuru mentioned having a set of EV and that a review is "coming up." I follow her on YT so, I'll try to remember to post when I see this review go up. I do have a pair of regular Vanquisher 2.0 mirror tinted goggles, and use them on sunny days at an outdoor pool. Until the outdoor pool here closes, I probably won't be much help as far as the tint indoors on them, anyway.
