I am looking for a long course meet that doesn't conflict with my work schedule, and I have a sister in the Bay Area. Aside from deck space being a bit limited at age grouper meets (we generally have to set up tents outside the pool deck area), nothing really sticks in my head about the facility.

I'm planning to swim at least Saturday or Sunday at the Pacific LCM meet, possibly both.

RE: Question about the Pacific Masters LCM Championships

Thanks for the info. Perhaps I will see you there.I would suggest emailing the coach of the Masters team that trains there - www.quicksilverswimming.org/SubTabGeneric.jsp.

Pacific Masters meets are exceptionally well run.

Looking at the pictures of the pool online, it looks like every other LCM pool in NorCal - flow-over gutters, concrete slab, variable bottom. These pools are almost all fast and great to swim in. Regardless, the competition should be great.

RE: Question about the Pacific Masters LCM Championships

Thanks for the info. Hopefully somebody who swims there can chime in and give better information about depth and temperature.

Every PacMasters LCM championship meet I've ever been to has used touch pad timing, so I would be surprised if this meet were any different. It might be worthwhile to send an email to one of the meet directors and get some solid answers to your questions.

RE: Question about the Pacific Masters LCM Championships

Do you know anything about the pool depth and the water temp?
