Indeed. Thanks!

RE: Betty Mullen Brey

espn.go.com/.../notre-dame-fighting-irish-coach-mike-brey-mom-dies-hours-team-played-butler-bulldogs-ncaa-tournament

Betty was a founding member ('73) and fourth president of DC Masters. She was a tireless recruiter for AAU Masters Swimming in the early years. Also a fierce competitor with many records and national championships. She was an eight-time All American spanning 1973 - 1992. She was a great teammate and all around wonderful person. She used to bring Mike to our Potomac Valley meets to help time, etc.

I watched the entire game last night and Coach Brey was on top of it the whole time, not a hint of what he was feeling and the game was as intense as it gets. Sorry for the loss of Betty; one can easily see her character lives on with her son.
