That&amp;#39;s great George. 

I shattered my femur a long time ago and I know it takes time to recover. One suggestion I will give is that you should be careful to not do too much too soon. Sorry to hear about the margarita&amp;#39;s.  That is something you cannot recover from.

About the hip.  Your a stud and your doctors had to confirm it.  You will revcover quite quickly since workout consistently.  Next time you travel to Mexico you will have to find a pool with a bar that you can swim up to and and not have to get out of the water.

A couple of years ago, my then 75 yo father took a spill on his bike (Mr.Triathalon) when he hit a muddy spot, and ended up with a spiral fracture of his femur, very close to the head of the femur.  Thanks to his amazing prior training, his recovery was amazingly fast, even though he theorectically had to learn how to walk again.  You can do it!!!
