Also, I have several pairs for workouts that I coach for new swimmers. I find they fit a range of sizes because of the elastic around the heel.

RE: PDF fins

Anyone use these Positive Drive Fins from Finis? i'm a men's size 8 and bought finis L size, M 6.5-8 positive drive fins www.finisinc.com/.../positive-drive-fin.html], and they were too tight.

i also have finis E size, M 7.5-8.5 Z2s www.finisinc.com/z2-gold-zoomers.html] (which are open toe) and they're just right. (also the Z2s are less stiff than the positive drive fins, which is a plus for me.)

i wear 8.5 sneakers, so maybe sneaker size is the way to go.

RE: PDF fins

I bought XXL (10-13) and they fit my size 11.5 feet fine. I can't imagine cramming a size 13 foot into one. They are slower than the v-cut fins and long blade fins but I like how they force me to kick correctly. If I don't kick just right, they slide horizontally and I don't get any power. For breaststroke, they are usable but I'm faster without them. The biggest problem with them is that at a certain speed, they fill up like buckets of water attached to my ankles and start separating from my feet. I have to get going pretty quick for this to happen but it kind of stinks to have that built in speed limit. I've thought about drilling holes in the toes so this doesn't happen so much.
