But being that many I swim with are triathletes I have been giving this avenue some thought. And as rtodd mentioned, if you&amp;#39;re substituting the activities, then it will most likely not be better than if you were just swimming. Personally I think other activities like plyometrics and weightlifting could help more than biking and distance running.
