This is something new for me, and it is messing up my pushing off from the wall. Any suggestions?????

RE: foot slipping on flip turns

You're turning wrong. I'd imagine its one of two scenarios:

1) You flip and your upper body ends up parallel to the lane, but your legs are at an angle. When you push, there's more force sideways on your feet than directly towards the wall.

2) You flip and your body ends up off-parallel to the lane, so now you're pushing off the wall at an angle (like in circle swimming).

Feet are only going to slip if you're not pushing back at the wall directly perpendicular to the wall plane. To fix, make sure you are flipping directly over the top, keep your body directly parallel to the lane AND parallel to the surface, and push off on your back.

Without video of your problem this is all i have to say

RE: foot slipping on flip turns

I would have to say it is number 2. Lately my sinuses have been bothering me and I find that when i flip i get a little disorientated and my position is off.
