I am attaching the Southern Masters SCM Championships results from New Orleans, which I just got via email. It turns out that just after the meet the meet director had some health problems and then some computer problems - hence the delay. I expect they will show up on the Southern Masters website as well. 7056

If you live in the Delaware Valley or NJ/NY area the Thanksgiving Classic is a good meet. It was held on November 10-11 this year. The pool is good and they have all the events over two days, so you will get rest between events. It is well run by the EEX age group team. :anim_coffee:

Me, post meet: :banana::bliss::bed::bed::bed: :D This was me, post meet: :ohyeah: (For winning high points and sweeping the Georgia Championship Series) :bitching:(For getting such poor times in my breaststroke events. Of course, having constant problems with leg muscle injuries from training breaststroke hasn't helped, nor did starting the day with the 400 IM) :frustrated:(Because I woke up after sleeping only four hours and couldn't fall back to sleep. This happens after EVERY swim meet!) Today: :bliss:(For getting a great night of sleep last night and realizing that I really did win high points at all four Championship Series events and sweep!)

Hey ekw- any news on those Southern LMSC Champs results? And did the Georgia folks happen to post any preliminary results from St. Nick's yesterday? P.S.- sounds like you had a great meet- congrats! No results yet for the Southern SCM Championships, either by email or on the web. The last meet I did over there had a lag of about a week on getting them. I haven't found preliminary results for the St. Nick's meet. PS- Thanks! I would say I had a moderately successful showing at the meet. :D

Diann Uustal set a new World Record at the St. Nick's meet! Women 65-69 200 Meter Free 1 Uustal, Diann 66 MESC 2:38.60 36.52 1:16.88 1:57.98 2:38.60 Previous WR was, BOAK Carolyn USA 02:39.77 04-Dec-2010 Diann was awesome! :applaud: :bow: What she has been able to do since her surgery is truly an inspiration. :agree:

Good job at the Atlanta meet to sickfish, who seems to have disabled comments on his blerg :waiting: No way! I love comments. It says they're postable... try again? Anyway, thanks! Seems like a lot of people had good swims. I'll definitely be going next year. And I'll be prepared for the ungrabbable walls.

Hi Elaine: I will be there. I got a discounted flight back in September when this meet was announced. I look forward to seeing you and everyone else. I only swam in this pool once at Nationals in 2010 and it was memorable because it was the last time I could swim in the Hi tech B70 Nero Comp neoprene suit. It was great seeing you, Skip! You, too, Swimosaur!! And, it was fun meeting you, ekw!!! Congratulations to all of you for winning high points trophies! P.S.- Their abbreviation is actually COMSA, just FYI :) Ack, just ignore my post quoted above.:afraid: I didn't realize there was a meet in Oregon, whose host team had an abbreviation so close to Colorado's. So I haven't seen the results you were actually talking about, but there was a one-day SCM meet held in Denver on December 8th, and those results have been added to the database.
