When I said I got bumped out of the top ten in the 2IM and the 2breast, I didn't notice that a couple guys who went faster than me last weekend were already ranked ahead of me. So I'm back in the running in those events! (probably not for long though) I did not think that I would be the one who didn't notice. And yet it happened. Oh well, what can you do? :dunno: God, I haven't looked at the rankings for like 4 days. Pat me on the back! Of course, I definitely have to look now. Well, I am not that bad. Some people look at the rankings right after their swim, ie after their warmdown.

Tpost2, Please let me know which meet that is, so I can contact the meet director to correct their entry form. The age determining date for an LCM meet held in October, 2012 should be December 31, 2012. :) Thanks - I wasn't the only one who noticed and looks like it was fixed - sent you a PM

According to www.dixiezone.org/Meets.htm, the New Orleans meet is cancelled. :badday: You can't blame James for that cancellation! It is all your fault that people in New Orleans don't have a meet this weekend. :)

I'm kicking myself for not going to either the Pacific our South Pacific meets. I was dithering about whether I could survive a 1500 and missed the Pacific deadline which was on a Friday night. The Southern entry deadline was the next Monday. I decided to go ahead and enter it, but the 1500 was full. :doh:

Thanks to all the fast swimming at the SPMS, Pacific Masters, and South Central Zone meets, I got bumped out of the top ten in the 200 IM and the 200 ***. And four other events are now on the bubble (400 free, 800 free, 100 fly, 50 back). Quick, somebody come up with an excuse to cancel the LCM meets next weekend! :bolt: Ha Ha Ha! :)

I was there and saw it. If memory serves, James did not stop at the 50, but did stop at the 100 and 150. He chatted with the officials during his breaks, and had to endure me hollering nonsense at him at the 150. The 200 fly was shortly after James' 200 back. They might even have been back to back events. Back to back was right, but I believe it was the 100 Back, of which I did post a masters best time. :anim_coffee: I'd already posted a 200 Fly for the season, so this was a "cool down". I'm not one to skip events just because I'm tired or otherwise.

I'll give you a hint...Junior Nationals in Santa Clara, CA ~August of 1996. Was a time trial event as well. Can you find it now? Are you saying that wasn't you in the previous link? Then who the heck was that in lane 6? :eek:

That's not realtime. They just post the results at the end of the day. Yesterday results for the events appeared one at a time, shortly after they happened. That's good enough for me. :dunno:
