Incredible race and Adrian looked truly surprised when he saw the scoreboard! I noticed the look of surprise as well. Awesome race for him. First Olympic gold for USA in that event since Biondi in '88. Now, how about another Cal swimmer getting gold in the 50?!

Undoubtedly Magnusson lost because he was breathing to the wrong side and probably didn't move over to the lane line so he could draft off Adrian's wake. :)
