It's really a shame about Nathan Adrian's finger. After his smoking fast 50 in prelims, I was really looking forward to his swim in the finals and in the 100. Plus it's just fun to look at him... Not to mention it would have been super fun to see a head to head race with Grevers - he and Nathan were the best bromance of the Olympics. :)

I especially liked Celina Li's 200 IM win; she will be even more dangerous in the 400 IM. Cal women are going to benefit greatly over the next four years from her versatility. Clark "the shark" showed some nice 500 street cred with his 4:18 4th place finish. Eddie's gonna have fun with him.

The three-day meet will be contested in short course yards and is the last major domestic USA Swimming event of the year. The event will be broadcast on NBC as a one-hour special on Sunday, December 2 from 2-3 p.m. ET. More than 15 members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Swim Team will compete in Austin. Lochte, Franklin, Schmitt, Grevers and Adrian each earned multiple Olympic medals this summer in London. Each swimmer also took home gold in an individual event.
