I have to do the North Carolina Meet since there is nothing happening in the Northeast in August. This way, I can fly down Friday afternoon and fly home Sunday after my last event.

Come test your heat tolerance in Mesa the first weekend in August -- azlmsc.org/.../2012-LCM-State-Meet.pdf. There's also the Grand Canyon State Games the prior Sunday, at the same pool: www.gcsg.org/.../swimming.php Evidently the GCSG have awesome awards, or so I'm told.

There are several LCM meets scheduled in the Dixie Zone: July 14-15 / LCM: St. Pete Masters LCM Championships, St. Petersburg FL. July 21-22 / LCM: June Krauser Summer Splash, Ft. Lauderdale FL. Aug. 4-5 / LCM: Dixie Zone LCM Championships, Greenville SC (NEW FACILITY). Aug. 11-12 / LCM: Dog Days of Summer Long Course Meet, Clearwater FL. Aug. 18 / LCM: Last Chance LCM Meet, Coral Springs FL. Aug. 18-19 / LCM: North Carolina Long Course Meet, Cary NC.

LC times can be done through Sept. 30 for TT submission. www.usms.org/.../pubschedule.php I'll see you at Palo Alto, Ande. Maybe they'll measure and we'll have better luck with our swims counting for TT this time. There's also Southern Masters LMCS Championships at University of New Orleans on August 18-19. see you then, I have no doubt that pool will be correctly set, measured, and recorded. I suggest meets post a copy of the pool measurements above the heat sheets on the wall. It's a gotta happen detail Ande
