Out of respect for Gail, Summer and Olympian’s everywhere; I’ve re-titled the thread. Can we now get back to kudos to Summer? A great swimmer, person and humanitarian! Ande, pm me if you take exception to my renaming. no worries, even better, I just used part of the article's title. Jeff's right, there's no former.

Former Olympians Olympians Giving Back: Summer Sanders -- January 24, 2012 I didn't realize Summer Sanders was a former Olympian. Did they take away her swims? My sarcasm simply means once an Olympian, always an Olympian - there is no such thing as a Former Olympian. Although I guess if your name is Ben Johnson you are a Former Olympian...
