Thanks,

I am doing KettleWorx and 2 different Bob Harper DVDs -- I use 10 and 15lbs and the workouts are heavy on the cardio side. I have noticed that my core is much stronger and I am swimming faster.

RE: Kettlebells?

I use them for one exercise in my dryland routine. While they were there I liked using them, and did the following 3 exercises:
Standing one-arm shoulder press (with weight above the handle)
Kettlebell Swings
Kettlebell Windmill

Didn't do a whole routine with them (there are many more exercises in addition to the ones I listed), but it was fun to lift/do something different. Also, I don't know how much, if any, they helped with my swimming, but again, it was something different to do. A few years ago I entertained the idea of getting a pair to keep at home, but I guess I lost interest…plus, it would mean I'd have to grow my handlebar mustache out again. :D
