The new suits are coming out of the closet for sure. All of the manufactures will have a pitch for the next Olympics.

I got a Yingfa this past summer and it was a world of difference, once I got it on. Not something you want to hang out for a while in, once you're done swimming though. Sounds like they aren't really catering to most masters swimmers...at least those who I see at meets :bolt: Yingfas are made by the Chinese and definitely sized for the Chinese. How else can you explain me having to order the largest women's size, XXXL, when I am almost 5'8" and weigh 121 pounds? :bitching: (Yes, I'm still bitching about this...)

Still seems expensive for my tastes, for a jammer. I think I'll give the Yingfa a whirl this scy season. I got a Yingfa this past summer and it was a world of difference, once I got it on. Not something you want to hang out for a while in, once you're done swimming though. According to their size chart a size 32 is for 6'1 to 6'4 and 160 to 200 lbs ? Sounds like they aren't really catering to most masters swimmers...at least those who I see at meets :bolt:

Either that, or since Arena hasn't seemed to come out with their new competitor to FS3 and Alchemy, maybe you can pimp yourself out as a product designer for them.

I have to admit I'm intrigued by the high waist models on the Tyr and Speedo jammers. If it packs in the dunlop I wouldn't care if I look like Steve Erkel. This may be a modification that helps the masters swimmer more than the trimmer youngin's. I think the other benefit these high-waisted suits might provide is keeping water out. It seems like the current suits have a tendency to ride too low (i.e, "plumber butt") and this provides a nice channel for water to enter the back of the suit and collect in the crotch area. Very true, male swimmers need to figure out the best spot for their racing suits to cover their lower backs. the sweet spot provides the most coverage and compression and let's in the least amount of water in during races.

Why don't hey just lower the waist line all the way down to the knee and the suit will consist of just two leg bands? Won't that be interesting??? :bump:

I thought "Plumber Butt" was why the ladies get into masters swimming in the first place? :D Since I do not have a butt this of course does not apply to me!

when I wear the Tyr Tracer Light, no riding low issues at all.Same here, especiallly once the suit is wet.
