Dawn Heckman of Rose Bowl Aquatics threw down a 16:26.93 in the 1500 free yesterday. She already had the world record in the 800, but assuming yesterday's swim counts she established a new mark of 8:46.37 in the 800, too. Now that's a dominating swim! That is FAST. Really damn fast. How old is she? :bow:

Correction, 34. She went 8:38 for her 800 today, but did not break her record set in the first half of the 1500, 8:36.

That is just amazing. Back in my prime in college I held 57.5 or so for my 1650 at Nationals, but to be anywhere near that again seems darn near impossible to me. Dawn Heckman must be a training machine, and even better in competition! :bow: :cheerleader: :chug:
